Abstract
Depuis le XVIIIe siècle, les activités industrielles ont généré un patrimoine industriel bâti dont la richesse architecturale témoigne de nombreuses innovations constructives. En délaissant les matériaux naturels pour recourir aux matériaux artificiels, et en intégrant une nouvelle logique constructive, le secteur du bâtiment s’est industrialisée. Simultanément, l’essor des activités industrielles, fortement consommatrices d’énergies fossiles, a contribué à une augmentation anthropique des émissions de gaz à effet de serre qui ont transformé l’atmosphère terrestre. Aujourd’hui, l’évolution du climat implique des risques variables pour le patrimoine, et les impacts du changement climatique sont déjà nombreux. Ainsi, pendant deux siècles, l’industrialisation a façonné un patrimoine bâti qui aujourd’hui est menacé rétroactivement par le changement climatique qu’il a favorisé.
