Cet article propose une représentation de la dynamique du deuil du Moi en Soi chez la personne recevant un pronostic fatal en contexte de soins palliatifs. Appréhender sa mort prochaine interpelle inévitablement, pouvant susciter une urgente quête de sens en réponse au doute et au désarroi. Lorsque la fragilité du corps se révèle à travers une déchéance accélérée, la personne peut perdre une part significative de sa capacité d’agir pour donner sens à son existence. Soumise à une temporalité lui semblant souvent trop courte, elle se voit alors contrainte d’exposer sa vulnérabilité en risquant une nouvelle forme d’Être à soi et à l’Autre, empreinte d’un désir renouvelé. Comment accompagner spirituellement la personne dans cette transformation ?
