Abstract
Questo saggio mette in scena spazi e luoghi, intesi come habitat di speranza e cambiamento, resistenza e innovazione sociale, con un alto potenziale di emancipazione a livello sociopolitico. Attraverso l’analisi di due percorsi di ricerca-azione di lungo periodo, uno in Europa e l'altro in Québec, il contributo illustra la rilevanza di iniziative, modelli di governance e processi d'istituzionalizzazione socialmente innovativi in ambito territoriale. Affronta inoltre il ruolo svolto dalla ricerca come strumento di innovazione sociale in grado di dar vita a inedite modalità di cooperazione tra attori istituzionali e pratiche sociali emergenti. Modalità di cooperazione che ridisegnano i processi di generazione della conoscenza, mettendo in discussione ipotesi di indagine e strumentazione metodologica.
