Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

American baritone and vaudeville artist, one of the early performers on Edison cylinders. He made about 40 cylinders as a soloist from 1902 to 1911, and also duets with Albert Campbell. The Edison 1902 list included “Sadie, Say You Won’t Say Nay” (#8037), plus “In the Moonlight with the Girl You Love” (#8044), and two others. There were further duets on Edison cylinders, with Will Oakland and Albert Campbell, then recordings for U-S Everlasting Records, with Frank Coombs. Thompson cut 14 sides for Victor, in two sessions: 30 Nov 1903 and 21 June 1904. He did not record after 1913. He died in Chicago. [Walsh 1951/5.]Swedish contralto, born in Venjan. She studied and made her debut in Stockholm and was with the Royal Opera in 1924-1930. Then she sang in Berlin and Vienna, and at the Metropolitan Opera as Fricka on 21 Dec 1936, remaining until 1950 (except for the 1946-1947 season). She gave many recitals across the U.S. and Canada before retiring to Sweden, where she died in Hedemora.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
