Abstract
Il saggio, frutto di un puntuale spoglio della principale stampa italiana ed europea, analizza i principali eventi che hanno caratterizzato la politica europea nel corso del 2010: dagli sviluppi della crisi greca, all’intransigenza di Angela Merkel, dal G20 di Toronto alle presidenze spagnola e belga. Attenzione particolare è dedicata al declino del peso italiano in Europa, confermato dall’esito della corsa alle prime nomine del Seae (l’organigramma ha confermato un rappresentante per ciascun «grande» ma con la sostituzione dell’Italia a vantaggio della Polonia nel quartetto) e la distribuzione delle rappresentanze Ue all’estero.
