While a large number of customers in the USA, Canada and European countries shop on the Internet over and over again, online shopping in developing countries is in the infancy stage. Therefore, in this research we want to explore the reasons that shoppers do not intend to purchase online in developing countries. By applying the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) we want to scrutinize the impediments of Internet shopping in general and Internet grocery shopping in particular. We pin point the factors that affect online grocery shopping by analyzing the data. We notice that among the 10 factors that influence Internet grocery shopping; social, technical, confidence, trust and affection are of main importance for customers in developing countries such as Iran.
