Si le Royaume-Uni quitte l’Union européenne sans aucun nouvel accord relatif à la reconnaissance et à l’exécution des jugements, ceux émanant des États membres de l’Union européenne seront tributaires, de prime abord, du droit commun. Cet article en décrira les règles pertinentes et appellera l’attention sur les différences essentielles entre ces règles et celles actuellement applicable au titre du règlement Bruxelles I bis.
