Morphological and Genetic Analyses Suggest Some Strains under Tiphodytes gerriphagus (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae: Scelioninae), an Egg Parasitoid of Water Striders
Bibliographic record
Abstract
We conducted morphological observation and DNA analysis of Japanese Tiphodytes. In morphological observation, not only was T. gerriphagus identified, but also five strains were confirmed from individuals of Tiphodytes identified and morphological characters of the five strains except for T. gerriphagus did not match previous described Tiphodytes species. In ML tree based on 28S and COI sequence data analyzed from individulas of Tiphodytes identified, T. gerriphagus and the five strains were formed and the nodes of this species and the strains were well supported by bootstrap. The Fst values of 28S and COI sequence data analyzed from Tiphodytes collected indicated genetic differentiation between pairs of T. gerriphagus and each strain, and between pairs of strains. These results indicate that the genus Tiphodytes in Japan consists of at least T. gerriphagus and five strains, which probably include different species.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
