Entrevue de Marie-Célie Agnant par Karin Schwerdtner: Écrivaine, conteuse, auteure de plusieurs poèmes, romans, nouvelles et ouvrages destinés aux jeunes, mais aussi ancienne interprète et traductrice, Marie-Célie Agnant nous livre ici ses réflexions sur la mémoire, sur le rôle des femmes dans la transmission culturelle intergénérationnelle en Haïti, et sur l’écriture envisagée comme mouvement vers l’autre. La mémoire, le souvenir et, en particulier, le travail de la transmission (culturelle, mémorielle, langagière) entre les générations s’inscrivent au cœur des œuvres d’Agnant, ainsi qu’en témoigne la critique.
