L’emploi des drones armés est devenu d’usage courant pour les États-Unis. Ceux-ci les utilisent également pour effectuer des assassinats ciblés visant des cibles humaines à haute valeur ajoutée. Le contrôle juridique de ces frappes reste important, le drone n’étant qu’un moyen et non pas une finalité.
