Abstract

La personne enseignante du primaire favorise et évalue, dans sa pratique quotidienne, le développement du raisonnement mathématique [RM]. Toutefois, le concept de RM reste flou autant en recherche que dans la pratique. Par exemple, on en connait très peu sur les différentes façons dont les personnes enseignantes utilisent ce concept dont les usages viennent façonner plusieurs choix didactiques (Hill et al., 2005). Cet article a pour but de contribuer à la clarification du concept de RM en particulier dans le contexte de l’enseignement primaire par l’enrichissement d’un modèle théorique développé à partir de la littérature scientifique. Fondée sur la commognition, une analyse du discours de six enseignantes et sa mise en dialogue avec le modèle de Jeannotte (2015) a permis d’élaborer un réseau conceptuel entourant le RM. À la suite de cette analyse, le processus « expliquer » a été ajouté en tant que support au RM. Par ailleurs, les éléments partagés ou non par les enseignantes et le milieu de la recherche sont mis en lumière dans ce texte.
