Abstract
Se revisa la literatura científica sobre la importancia de los sesgos cognitivos en el juego y el juego patológico. Se analizan los trabajos al respecto del equipo de investigación dirigido por el Prof. F.J. Labrador. Como principales aportaciones se señalan: presencia de sesgos en todas las personas, si bien con mayor frecuencia e intensidad conforme aumenta la implicación en el juego y problemas de juego. Especial relevancia de los sesgos relacionados con el azar autocorrectivo y predicciones. Los sesgos deben reducirse tras el tratamiento. Modificar los sesgos parece necesario pero no suficiente para superar los problemas de juego.
