Abstract
L’étude concerne 636 élèves français (6-18 ans) présentant une déficience intellectuelle (DI) légère et scolarisés en milieu scolaire ordinaire ou en établissement spécialisé. Elle vise à cerner la proportion et la nature des besoins éducatifs particuliers non compensés en classe de même que les conséquences sur les évaluations internes à la classe, mais aussi diplômantes, externes à la classe. Pour ce faire, une grille d’observation a été complétée par les enseignants spécialisés. Nous postulons d’abord qu’il existe une relation entre le niveau d’hétérorégulation (par les enseignants des besoins d’autonomie des jeunes présentant une DI) et le niveau de réussite aux évaluations. De plus, nous anticipons qu’il y a un soutien non équivalent dans les différents champs de l’autonomie. Les besoins non compensés se retrouveraient davantage dans le champ de l’autonomie intellectuelle et les évaluations dans ce domaine seraient d’ailleurs les plus impactées.
