Abstract
People who are homeless and people who inject drugs (PWID) often grapple with securing and retaining housing, which limits their ability to prioritise their health and their contact with health and social care services. In the past two decades, a growing body of scientific literature has provided empirical evidence of the adverse effects of housing instability1–3 and how it contributes to adverse health outcomes among PWID, including HIV and hepatitis C Virus (HCV) transmission.
