Abstract
Originaire de France et installe au Quebec depuis bientot 15 ans, Sylvain Bouton a suivi un cursus scolaire tres diversie en graphisme, cinema documentaire, sociologie et communication. Sa passion pour la communication visuelle et les romans graphiques l’a mene a creer ses propres histoires qu’il illustre lui-meme. L’encrage est fait a la main tandis que les couleurs sont faites a l’ordinateur, quand ce n’est pas son fils de deux ans qui lui donne un coup de main sur certains projets. Apres quelques collectifs et un cours en illustration jeunesse a Barcelone, Sylvain se lance dans la conception d’albums illustres pour enfants et publie un premier ouvrage a Espoir en Canne en 2015, La veritable histoire de Noel et Noe, ainsi qu’un deuxieme opus dans la serie La veritable histoire de Charlie et Dizzy.
