Abstract
This paper described the basic research work for high quality wheat varieties in Canada and achievements acquired in breeding research work in recent years, and outlined wheat production status and the criterion and clarification system used for identifying wheat quality. The use of experiences of Canada for reference in our own wheat quality improvement was also proposed.
