Abstract
Alors que le marché de l’emploi a connu un net regain dans la région métropolitaine de Montréal entre les deux derniers recensements (1996-2001), on s’interroge sur l’impact de cette croissance sur les dynamiques intra-urbaines. Analysées grâce à l’exploitation de données d’emploi compilées au niveau des secteurs de recensement, notre contribution cherche à illustrer les logiques qui président à la redistribution des emplois, en mettant à l’épreuve deux scénarios : celui de la multipolarisation et celui d’une certaine diffusion le long des équipements autoroutiers.
