Abstract
À partir d’un questionnaire, établi dans le cadre d’une thèse en sciences de l’éducation portant sur les conditions d’existence des personnes présentant des incapacités motrices dans les établissements spécialisés et les possibilités qui leur sont offertes concernant la vie amoureuse et sexuelle, notre contribution se propose de présenter et discuter les résultats de notre enquête en les mettant en perspective avec les travaux existants dans la lignée du modèle social du handicap. Ils mettent en évidence la permanence des obstacles de l’environnement matériel et humain et nous permettent de montrer que l’approche sociale n’est pas encore une référence largement partagée en France.
