Abstract
À partir des travaux de Michel Foucault et de ses relectures par Teresa de Lauretis et Judith Butler, l’auteure propose de concevoir les séries télévisées en tant que technologies de genre mais aussi à titre de territoires du genre. La sérialité peut effectivement être envisagée à la fois comme un des procédés itératifs participant à « performer » le genre (Butler) et telle la production de « territoires » par les effets de réseau, d’échos, de dispersion des représentations des rapports sociaux de genre dans la sphère publique. Pour ce faire, l’auteure base sa proposition théorique sur les résultats de sa recherche doctorale consacrée aux représentations de la parentalité à travers le prisme du genre dans un corpus de séries télévisées familiales françaises.
