Abstract
본 연구는 질적인 접근으로 유아가 작성한 그림일기에서 쓰기, 그리기와 복합양식 문식성의 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 어린이집 만 5세반 유아 20명의 그림일기 710편을 주제 분석법에 따라 분석하였다. 그 결과, 유아는 초보 작가로서의 발전, 성숙한 화가로서의 개성, 그리고 유망한 멀티모달리스트로서의 도전을 보여주었다. 초보 작가로서, 유아들은 내러티브 구성 능력의 발달과 자아와 타인에 대한 관점의 발전을 보여주었다. 성숙한 화가로서, 유아들은 플롯의 양상과 성별에 따른 등장인물들의 묘사에서 뚜렷한 스타일을 보여주었다. 유망한 멀티모달리스트로서, 유아들이 사용하는 복합양식 문식성의 기능과 유형을 발견했다. 본 연구의 결과로부터, 유아들은이 능동적인 의미 구성자로서 그림일기를 작성하였다는 결론에 도달하였다. 이는 그림일기가 비단 쓰기 능력 발달을 위한 도구일 뿐만 아니라, 복합양식 문식성을 함양하는 교육방법임을 시사한다. 본 연구가 유아의 경험 표상과 복합양식 문식성의 표현에 대한 학문적 통찰력과 실천적인 의미를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.
