Abstract
The ingestion of a foreign body is a complication often seen in the hospital emergency rooms. The dental university hospital, where instruments and products are manipulated in the mouth, is an environment of risk. Previously, accidental foreign body ingestion during a routine dental procedure was reported by different groups. However, ingestion of multiple foreign bodies during a routine dental impression procedure is uncommon. Here, we describe a clinical case of accidental ingestion of concomitant crown and piece of tray.
