The world mattress industry report is published annually by CSIL and the 2015 edition contains current and historical data and analysis for a total of 60 countries. It focuses on the 40 most important mattress manufacturing countries, i.e. Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, the UK and the United States. Data on international trade of mattresses cover (in addition to the 40 countries listed above), 20 other countries, for a total of 60 countries. The report consists of five parts. Part I deals with production, consumption and international trade of mattresses and includes a section on world mattress industry statistics and an appendix with methodology notes. Part II consists of 40 country analysis sections, which include: mattress industry trends of production, apparent consumption, exports, imports for the years 2005-2014 and forecasts of yearly changes in mattress market for 2015-2016. Major trading partners (origin of imports and destination of exports of mattresses). Information on breakdown of production by material (innerspring, latex, foam, other) and on quantity if available. Short profiles of top mattress manufacturers operating in the country. Information on distribution systems and main players. Part III includes detailed profiles of 30 major mattress manufacturers (financial highlights, manufacturing process, distribution, products, sales performance). Part IV and Part V contain website addresses of selected mattress industry suppliers and full addresses of mattress manufacturing companies mentioned in the report. New in the 2015 edition: Country analysis for 5 additional countries: Argentina, Chile, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.
