Abstract
La vulnérabilité (du latin vulnerare signifiant blesser ou endommager) désigne un degré d’affaiblissement qui diminue la réserve des capacités accumulées par un être humain indispensables afin de résister aux stimulations et aux agressions environnementales. La mondialisation néolibérale accélère la multiplication en cascade des événements déstabilisants et des conditions de vie difficiles, constitués de précarités économiques, de privations sociales, de crises écologiques et sanitaires produites en série et vécues au quotidien par les populations. Dans ces conditions, la résilience consiste en un commandement suivi par chacun et signant l’acte de décès de son engagement dans le monde ; c’est surtout l’obligation de se résigner à son état actuel. Or, cette capacité à rebondir en force, à tenir son fonctionnement en absorbant le choc pour se renouveler et s’adapter, on en retrace la présence dans l’Antiquité, dans la doctrine stoïcienne, technique d’enseignement d’une « morale d’esclave » transformée en disposition psychologique durable.
