Abstract
L’auteur tente, à partir d’une citation de l’oeuvre de Jacques Ferron, de situer le rôle et la place de la marge et de la marginalité dans ses rapports dynamiques complexes avec la centralité. Trois grands défis humain, affirmer sa singularité et sa position par rapport au Tout, au soi et au rien, requièrent une position de marginalité, qu’elle soit extérieure ou intérieure. L’auteur ne néglige pas pour autant les aspects très cruels et néfastes d’une marginalité sociale imposée, entretenue par un système social, politique et économique engendrant souvent de l’exclusion, voire du rejet.
