Abstract
People on chronic hemodialysis identify fatigue and its negative impact on their life participation (i.e., ability to accomplish valued day-to-day activities) as a central aspect of their illness experience. The objectives of this study were to explore (1) the impacts of fatigue on various facets of life participation among adults on hemodialysis, and (2) their perceptions of energy management as an approach to improve their life participation.
