Abstract
La praxis de l’animation culturelle suppose souvent que l’animateur initie les actions culturelles en tant qu’agent de politiques d’État. Nous postulons cependant qu’il demeure possible pour certaines populations marginalisées d’être à l’origine de ces actions et en faisons la démonstration à l’aide d’une étude de cas, le défilé des fiertés LGBT. En opérationnalisant une action culturelle ouverte sur la capacité d’agir d’acteurs sociaux, nous examinons si les caractéristiques dégagées se retrouvent dans le défilé. Lieu de tensions, notamment entre les politiques d’assimilation et subversives, l’inclusion et l’homogénéité, le consumérisme et l’autonomie solidaire, nous relevons que malgré le risque de dépolitisation et d’entrée dans une logique consumériste, elle a néanmoins été initiée de façon autonome. Ceci nous invite à repenser la gamme des investissements possibles de l’animation culturelle.
