Abstract
Les suicides au Québec continuent d’augmenter et nous sommes en panne de moyens pour les prévenir. La recherche en suicidologie fait de grands détours pour éviter les questions qui touchent directement à la vie et à la souffrance de vivre ou de l’ être . Pourtant, si on veut prévenir le suicide, il va bien falloir se réapproprier cette souffrance qui n’est pas en soi malsaine, déficiente ou pathologique, ni même absurde ou fatale, mais qui peut ultimement pousser au suicide lorsqu’elle ne trouve plus à s’exprimer autrement. Il va nous falloir aussi nous réapproprier ce dont nous avons besoin, tant individuellement que collectivement, pour mieux être et mieux vivre.
