Abstract
Cet article réfléchit, grâce à une analyse du traitement narratif de la violence envers les femmes dans le recueil Madame Victoria de Catherine Leroux et le récit Un livre sur Mélanie Cabay de François Blais, à la part de responsabilité des créatrices et créateurs quant à la question éthique et politique, et plus particulièrement à la manière dont cette part est envisagée sur un mode fictionnel. Nous y constatons que la responsabilité de la création implique une véritable prise en charge démocratique de la dimension judiciaire — sous forme d’enquête personnelle — pour interroger la force des autorités ainsi que leur défaite. Cette prise en charge implique une ambiguïsation de la narration, vers une contestation de l’autorité, et donne lieu à une éthique de la fiction.
