Abstract
Cet article analyse les conséquences du Brexit sur la politique de défense des États membres de l’UE. Il prend comme exemple la Pologne. Premièrement, il présente les raisons de la défiance initiale des gouvernements polonais vis-à-vis des compétences de l’UE en matière de défense. Ensuite, l’article examine les raisons ayant conduit à la signature du traité bilatéral de défense avec le Royaume-Uni ainsi que son impact pour la coopération de défense au sein de l’UE et de l’OTAN. Enfin, il montre que la politique de sécurité de la Pologne témoigne moins d’un biais pro-atlantiste et d’une défiance envers le multilatéralisme que d’une approche flexilatérale où le Brexit n’a qu’un rôle limité.
