Abstract
En 1889, le jeune Luigi Pirandello, alors âge de 22 ans, est venu de Sicile etudier les lettres a l'Universite de Rome. Lors d'un cours de latin, il prend la defense d'un camarade qui s'est ouvertement moque de son professeur, Onorato Occioni, apres que celui-ci a commis une grossiere erreur de traduction.
