Abstract
En 1889, le jeune Luigi Pirandello, alors âgé de 22 ans, est venu de Sicile étudier les lettres à l'Université de Rome. Lors d'un cours de latin, il prend la défense d'un camarade qui s'est ouvertement moqué de son professeur, Onorato Occioni, après que celui-ci a commis une grossière erreur de traduction.
