Abstract
Comment les femmes âgées vivent-elles le deuil d’une partenaire de même sexe? Pour mieux comprendre cette expérience peu étudiée, les auteures ont conçu une recherche qualitative et mené dix-huit entrevues avec dix femmes âgées de plus de 65 ans de l’agglomération de Montréal, au Québec, qui avaient vécu cette épreuve. Les auteures se sont intéressées à la façon dont les participantes définissent leur communauté, à la manière dont leur rapport à celle-ci évolue dans le temps et à son incidence sur leur expérience de deuil. Elles présentent dans leur article la perception des participantes à l’égard des ressources existantes, ainsi que leurs espoirs pour l’avenir.
