Abstract
El doctor William Straw es profesor titular de Estudios de la Comunicacion en la Universidad de McGill en Montreal, Canada. Curso la licenciatura en Estudios Cinematograficos en Carleton y la maestria y doctorado en Estudios de la Comunicacion en la Universidad de McGill, donde ha desarrollado la mayor parte de su carrera academica. Actualmente es coordinador del Departamento de Historia del Arte y Estudios de la Comunicacion y esta involucrado en multiples proyectos, tanto individuales como colectivos, de particular interes para la comunidad academica estudiosa de la dimension simbolica de las ciudades como medios de comunicacion (social medium).
