Abstract
Dans le recit d’emigration la territorialite est de toute premiere importance. L’etranger venu d’ailleurs appartient a un lieu qu’il quitte et qu’il n’oubliera jamais pour aller vers un pays d’accueil ou il va devoir vivre et qui ne lui appartient pas. Dans ce dernier roman Abla Farhoud raconte l’histoire d’une rue de Montreal ou s’entremelent quebecois et emigres du monde entier, la rue Hutchison, un lieu ou tous sont ancres depuis longtemps et qu’ils ne veulent pas abandonner. Un lieu euphorique qui leur appartient. L’ecriture n’est donc plus hors lieu mais dans le lieu.
