Abstract
Depuis 2015, le système d’enseignement obligatoire belge francophone est engagé dans un vaste plan de réforme désigné sous le vocable de Pacte pour un enseignement d’excellence. Le Pacte d’excellence introduit une nouvelle forme de régulation institutionnelle fondée sur la contractualisation entre l’autorité publique compétente et les établissements scolaires. À partir du modèle des cités de Boltanski et Thévenot (1991) et d’une analyse lexicographique de documents officiels, cet article étudie, dans une perspective historique, l’introduction progressive des nouvelles logiques de coordination du travail des acteur⋅rice⋅s du système éducatif dont le Pacte d’excellence constitue l’aboutissement. Il montre que la régulation du système éducatif repose sur des logiques managériales particulièrement compatibles avec certains principes pédagogiques.
