Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Social determinants of health and certain health conditions are associated with testing and with testing positive for SARS-CoV-2, a study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal has found.1 And it is important to understand these factors in managing the response to the pandemic, the researchers suggest, after they conducted an observational study using cross sectional analyses among nearly 14.7 million community dwelling people in Ontario, Canada. Researchers analysed data on 14 695 579 people in Ontario from March to June 2020, of whom 758 691 were tested for SARS-CoV-2 and 25 030 (3.3%) tested positive. The research team explored the potential for collider or selection bias …

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
