Abstract
Cet article analyse la maniere dont les processus de desinstitutionnalisation et d’individualisation ont transforme les schemas symboliques reliant femmes et institution familiale durant les dernieres decennies en Espagne et les repercussions de ces mutations sur la vie quotidienne. Nous mettons en regard la vie des « fonctionnaires domestiques » (Durkheim) durant le franquisme avec le discours actuel de femmes sur la gestion du temps quotidien. Ces transformations s’observent notamment dans la necessite nouvelle de faire face, au-dela des problemes de conciliation, a l’epreuve familiale, epreuve qui nait de la tension entre l’obligation morale envers autrui et la fidelite a soi-meme. Postulant que cette epreuve est vecue de maniere extreme par les femmes a la tete de familles monoparentales, nous etudions le quotidien de ces dernieres et les strategies permettant d’y faire face.
