Rumah kost dan rumah sewa merupakan prasarana yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan masyraat ataupun mahasiswa yang berada di luar kota. Prasarana ini cukup penting di semua kota, salah satunya kota Stabat. Akses informasi letak dan fasilitas rumah kost atau rumah sewa di Kota Stabat ini masih sangat sulit didapatkan. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemetaan lokasi rumah kost atau rumah sewa, dan penentuan jalur terpendek untuk mencapai lokasi kost tersebut. Pencarian rumah kost terdekat pada penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra. Dengan demikian hasil yang akan di dapat dalam menentukan lokasi tempat kost /rumah sewa di wilayah kota stabat adalah berupa peta dengan aplikasi Google Mapas. Dimana jika masyarakat ingin melihat letak lokasi rumah kost / rumah sewa di wilayah kota stabat maka sistem informasi geografis ini akan memudahkan masyarakat atau mahasiswa khususya yang berada diluar kota sehigga masyarakat dapat melihat penyebaran letak lokasi rumah kost/ rumah sewa, gambar kost /rumah sewa, keterangan kost /rumah sewa dan rute terpendek dalam menuju lokasi kost /rumah sewa yang ada di wilayah kota stabat.
