In dieser Arbeit wurde der Fall eines erworbenen von-Willebrand-Syndroms beim Labrador-Retriever dargestellt. Der Hund zeigte Schwachesymtome und Gewichtsabnahme, sowie Zeichen einer gastrointestinalen Blutung. Mittels Labor-Blutuntersuchungen wurde eine starke Anamie bei ausgesprochen verringerter Aktivitat des von-Willebrand-Faktors festgestellt (5% der Normalwerte). Wahrend der Behandlung erhielt der Hund Bluttransfusionen. Nach dem Tode wurde mittels pathohistologischer Untersuchung die Anwesenheit eines Gactric Leiomyosarkoms festgestellt. Da der Hund im Laufe seines bisherigen Lebens keine Anzeichen einer Hamostase-Storung in Form von Blutungen zeigte, wurde die Entwicklungsmoglichkeit eines erworbenen von Willebrand-Syndroms in Betracht gezogen.
