Cet article explore les apports des applications numériques dans un contexte spécifique, celui de l’apprentissage du français par des immigrants qui travaillent dans de petits commerces au Québec. Nous nous intéresserons aux besoins d’apprenants travaillant dans un dépanneur (petite épicerie de quartier aux heures d’ouverture étendues), notamment à la nécessité de connaître la dénomination d’un nombre important d’articles variés, et ce dans différents registres. Les solutions proposées tiennent compte des technologies disponibles, mais surtout des possibilités qu’ouvre la culture numérique qui permet une souplesse dans le traitement des données en plus d’ajouter à l’écrit les apports de l’oral et de l’image.
