Bibliographic record
Abstract
EnglishThis article discusses the processes of stigmatization of the informal settlement La Canada Real Galiana in its way through the autonomous community of Madrid, in order to analyze the relationship between urban speculation and stigmatization of an urban space and the people who live in it. It describes the deep heterogeneity of the settlement in the ethnic and cultural composition of its population, in their economic activity, their level of education, size, quality and homeconditions. It shows that the presence of this heterogeneity has been made invisible through a process of homogenization that presents all of the inhabitants of La Canada tied to the traffic of drugs, crime, violence, insecurity and illegality of their homes. This process of symbolic expropriation has as a result to ignore the articulation of this urban settlement with the Madrid urban speculation processes, and to legitimize a public intervention directed to ‘clean up’ La Canada in a selective process of demolition of homes and the expulsion of its inhabitants.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
