La lecture sur support numérique continue d’être populaire auprès des lecteurs québécois. Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec, comme plusieurs bibliothèques publiques québécoises, offre une collection de livres numériques à ses usagers. Pour faciliter l’accès à cette collection, les professionnels de l’information des Services à distance de Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec offrent de l’assistance technique aux usagers. Cet article présente l’évolution de ce service au cours des dernières années. L’état actuel du service y est décrit, particulièrement le type de soutien offert. Les défis que représentent ce type d’accompagnement sont abordés, et différentes pistes envisagées pour les surmonter et améliorer l’offre de service sont évoquées.
