Abstract
Le débat autour de la problématique du marché du travail, à l’ère de la mondialisation, qui est essentiellement multidimensionnelle et complexe, occupe une place capitale dans le milieu universitaire et académique, dans les instances décisionnelles du pays et également dans le discours populaire contemporain. Tous les pays visent à utiliser au mieux les forces productives du pays pour que chacun puisse contribuer au succès global. Cependant, la mise en oeuvre de politiques visant à surmonter les problèmes du marché du travail pose des défis majeurs pour le pays. L’article vise à mieux comprendre les perspectives économique, sociologique et politique du marché du travail dans la production de connaissances. Il s’appuie sur des analyses classiques, néoclassiques, monétaristes, keynésiennes, relationnelles et critiques de la notion de marché pour étayer les questions liées au fonctionnement du marché du travail.
