Il y aura bientôt un an que l’Église du Québec navigue à travers un temps de pandémie. Comme prêtre et curé de paroisse, cette traversée révèle des faiblesses dans plusieurs aspects de la vie de notre Église : dans le domaine des communications, ou en constatant le peu de baptisés disponibles pour une présence plus missionnaire sur le terrain ; la pauvreté des activités paroissiales qu’il nous reste, et les impacts importants de cette pandémie sur le moral des troupes et des leaders pastoraux. Après un bref état de la situation, l’auteur présente quelques pistes d’actions dont il est témoin et d’autres qu’il a lui-même tentées pour répondre au mieux aux appels que le Seigneur nous lance au cœur de cette situation unique.
