Abstract
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد مستوى الإصابة بالألكسثيميا لدى المدمنين وغير المدمنين وفقاً لدرجة القطع في المقياس المستخدم، والفروق بين العينتين على أبعاد المقياس الفرعية والدرجة الكلية، وفروق مستوى الألكسثيميا وفقاً للعمر والمستوى الدراسي. واستخدمت عينة قوامها 589 ذكراً، (ن= 264) مدمناً، و(ن= 325) غير مدمن في الكويت، أجابوا على مقياس تورنتو للألكسثيميا (TAS-20) ترجمة الباحث، وأظهرت النتائج ارتفاع متوسط الإصابة بالألكسثيما واحتمالية الإصابة بها لدى المدمنين، ووجدت فروق دالة في الأبعاد الفرعية والدرجة الكلية لصالح المدمنين، ولم يكشف تحليل التباين فروق بين العمر والمستوى الدراسي لدى عينة المدمنين، بينما في عينة غير المدمنين وجدت فروقاً دالة في العمر إذ تبين أن مستوى الألكسثيميا ينخفض مع التقدم في العمر، على الدرجة الكلية وصعوبة تحديد المشاعر، وصعوبة وصف المشاعر، كما أظهرت فروقاً تبعاً للمؤهل الدراسي على الدرجة الكلية وعلى بعد التفكير الموجه للخارج، وأنه كلما ارتفع المؤهل الدراسي انخفض مستوى الألكسثيميا.
