Abstract
Le Code de droit canonique, aux ce. 1166-1172, ainsi que des centaines de lois liturgiques determinent l'usage des sacramentaux dans l'Eglise. L'A. affirme qu'une application correcte de cette discipline canonique exige une bonne comprehension de ce que sont reellement les sacramentaux. Le but de cette etude est de developper une definition juridiquement precise et contemporaine des sacramentaux. L'A. commence par un trajectoire historique demontrant les differentes conceptions des sacramentaux a partir du Moyen-Âge jusqu'a ce jour. Vient ensuite un examen des sacramentaux tel que presentes dans les textes plus importants du droit universel et du magistere. La troisieme section presente cinq elements qui entrent en ligne de compte dans une definition juridique des sacramentaux.
