Abstract
Comprendre les processus de transmission de l’objet-langue, dans une démarche ethnologique, tel est le projet de thèse mené depuis deux ans passés. Il s’agit d’une analyse des systèmes de transmission familiale du breton en Bretagne (France) et du français en Saskatchewan (Canada), grâce à un travail de terrain basé essentiellement sur la tenue d’entretiens auprès de familles. Dans le cadre de cette communication, seul le cas breton sera évoqué, et il sera fait part des différents modes de transmission qui ont été observés au fil du terrain. À partir de ces modèles descriptifs, et à partir d’un exemple en particulier, il sera montré comment la tripartition de la transmission, combinant un don, une réception-appropriation et un rendu, s’applique à la langue bretonne.
