Abstract
À partir des expériences de la Ligue des droits et libertés (LDL), nous proposons une analyse des enjeux liés à la mobilisation du concept de « racisme systémique » dans le cadre des luttes pour la promotion des droits humains au Québec. Après un bref aperçu des combats menés par la Ligue depuis sa fondation, nous analysons l’impact du virage discursif et analytique pris récemment par cette organisation vers l’approche systémique du racisme. Nous démontrerons l’intérêt de cette perspective sur la pratique militante de la LDL, en particulier dans les domaines de l’éducation, de la sensibilisation, du réseautage, de la mobilisation et de l’analyse des enjeux sociopolitiques. Nous présentons par la suite une analyse des liens entre le concept de racisme systémique et les principes d’indivisibilité et d’interdépendance des droits humains, qui sont aux fondements du droit international et de la pratique de la LDL.
