Abstract
The Cover Feature shows an artistic representation, inspired by M.C. Escher's “Another World II”, from within the development of solid-state electrochromic device architectures with the ultimate aim to create a transparent non-emissive monitor. Fine-tuning the nature of the counter electrode followed by the optimization of the potential range and monitoring of the device performance by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy allows one to eliminate lithium gel electrolyte decomposition at the counter electrode and drastically improve the stability and durability of the devices.
