Abstract
A chacune des finales des Jeux du Quebec, les organisateurs parlent des retombees de l’evenement. Qu’en est-il au juste? Depuis la premiere finale, en 1971 a Riviere-du-Loup, plusieurs etudes se sont penchees sur les retombees economiques. A l’hiver 2007, la MRC de L’Assomption, organisatrice de la 42e Finale des Jeux du Quebec, a voulu mesurer aussi les retombees sociales et psychosociales. Le Comite organisateur a entrepris des demarches avec le Centre local de developpement (CLD) de la MRC de L’Assomption et l’Universite du Quebec a Trois-Rivieres (UQTR) afin d’effectuer une etude socio-economique des retombees de la 42e Finale des Jeux du Quebec a l’Assomption – Hiver 2007. Le present bulletin fait etat des principaux resultats de la premiere etape de cette etude. La seconde phase permettra de mesurer les retombees sociales a long terme.
