Abstract
Tujuan utama yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Kegiatan Kelompok Kerja Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Desa Lumpatan Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada natural setting (kondisi yang alamiah), sumber data primer, dan teknik pengumpulan data lebih banyak pada observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya manusia yang belum begitu memiliki kinerja dan kompetensi manajerial yang baik dalam mendukung penyusunan rencana kerja kegiatan Kegiatan Kelompok Kerja Kepala Sekolah serta sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai; penyusunan rencana Kegiatan Kelompok Kerja Kepala Sekolah dan indikator pendidikan dan pelatihan kurang berjalan dengan efektif; Rendahnya motivasi yang ditunjukkan kepala sekolah berdampak pada pengetahuan kepala sekolah terhadap penyusunan rencana kerja kurikulum sehingga kurang mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan disekolah yang di pimpinnya.
